Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15/08/2026
1: About Us
This website is operated by Manpreet Hundal, trading as MH Energy Assessors, a sole trader based in Nottingham.
By using this website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2: Website Use
This website is provided for general information about our energy assessment services.
You agree to use this website:
- For lawful purposes only
- In a way that does not infringe the rights of others
- Without attempting to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the website or its security
We reserve the right to restrict or remove access to this website if these terms are breached.
3: Information Accuracy
We aim to ensure all information on this website is accurate and up to date. However:
- Content is provided for general guidance only
- Services, pricing, and availability may vary
- Sample certificates, floor plans and images are for illustrative purposes only
- Guidance on regulations, such as minimum EPC ratings for rental properties, reflects our understanding at the time of writing and is not legal advice
We do not guarantee that all information on the website is complete, accurate, or current at all times.
4: Quotes & Enquiries
- Any prices provided via the website, email, or phone are indicative only
- Final pricing may depend on the size, type and location of the property
- Submitting an enquiry form does not create a binding contract
A booking will be confirmed separately before any assessment takes place.
5: Assessments & Turnaround
- All services are provided subject to availability
- Someone must provide access to the property at the agreed appointment time
- EPCs and floor plans are issued the same day as the appointment; retrofit assessment reports follow shortly after
- Timescales may be affected by access problems, incomplete property information, or circumstances outside our control
Assessments are carried out to the standards of our accreditation schemes, Elmhurst Energy and ECMK. An EPC reflects the property as inspected on the day, using the standard government methodology, and is valid for 10 years.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6: Certificates & the National Register
Every Energy Performance Certificate we produce must, by law, be lodged on the government's national EPC register, where it is publicly searchable by address. By booking an EPC you accept that this lodgement will take place, as it is a legal requirement of the scheme rather than something we can opt out of.
We cannot alter or remove a certificate once it is lodged. If you believe an assessment contains an error, contact us and we will raise it through the relevant accreditation scheme.
7: Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of MH Energy Assessors unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without prior written permission.
